Wake up your taste buds from the bitter weather with a carrot martini. Carrots are one of the few vegetables that are hardy enough to live through the winter. This recipe makes 4 martinis.
To infuse the vodka for the martini:
Combine the carrot and pineapple puree and strain the liquid out using a piece of cheesecloth. Then combine the puree with the vodka and let it keep for at least 48 hours. When you’re ready to enjoy your carrot martini, measure 1.5 ounces of the infused vodka and 2 ounces of Stirrings Blood Orange Mixer into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake it and then use a strainer to pour it into a martini glass (1 serving).
