Margarita

The Margarita, one of the world’s most festive drinks, is not a libation – it’s a lifestyle! We’ve taken some creative license with the margarita’s traditional salt rim and imparted lots of south-of- the-border savor to our sensational Rimmer® Garnish. The drink from the laid-back land of mañana never sipped more smoothly.

Did you know: The Margarita Rimmer® was Stirrings’ first product. Founders Bill and Gil grew tired of having one too many top shelf margaritas ruined by what was essentially road salt, and set out to create their own rim that was on par with the fine tequilas that they enjoyed. The result is made with sea salt -- which tastes cleaner and less acidic than regular salt -- herbs, cilantro and basil.

Have found a wonderful use for this product. I'm really not much of a drinker-rare to rarer-but I've been using the Margarita Rimmer as a seasoning on freshly popped popcorn for several years. It adds just the greatest flavor. Can't do w/o it now!

Found this item at Bed Bath and Beyond and we can't find it any where local. We all just love the sweet and sour tang of the rimmer. It is so much better than just Maragarita salt.

I would never even consider consuming a margarita without this rimmer! My husband bought me three tins after I told him how much I loved the first one. The different flavors add such depth to any margarita, much more than any plain old salt or sweetener could. This on the outside of my glass, a custom-made Hungry Girl mango margarita slushie inside... heaven.

I was really disappointed with the margarita rimmer. I've loved every other Stirrings product I've tried, so I thought I would love it. I don't know if it was just a bad batch or if it's just not to my taste. The salt smelled horrible. The taste was OK (not great), but I couldn't get past the smell of it. I asked a few other people and they all agreed--horrible. The tin went straight into the trash. I'll still buy your mixers, but no more rimmer for me. I bought the salt at a Hannaford in Ballston Spa, NY. I would love to have other flavors of mixers available her; usually I can just fine Mojito, Margarita, Cosmo, Pomegranate and Lemon Drop. I'd love to try some of the seasonal flavors.
