Sometimes working at Stirrings feels like you are part of team Energizer Bunny; we just keep going and going. While our significant others may get a little annoyed every now and then, the excitement that all of this growth provides to us is incredibly rewarding.
And, as all of the other Energizer Bunnies out there would agree, one of the best rewards for this effort is to be recognized by the Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest growing companies. This year, Stirrings came in at #1802, and #41 in the Food & Beverage industry -- right above Dogfish Head Brewery (by the way, on those rare occasions when you aren’t having cocktails, be sure to try their killer 60 Minute IPA.)
We are all very grateful for the distinction, and satisfaction, of receiving the award for our more than 200% growth. But if you ask any of us in the office, we’re not ready to slow down. Oh no. Some people fight hunger, others help the environment.*
We are the coalition for better cocktails.
Yes, it may sound a little cheesy. But these days, when all of us are working so hard and finding it more difficult than ever to get together with our friends and family, anything that makes those precious times more special is worth fighting for.
So, day by day, little by little, we help more people find out that better cocktails, and better times, are actually very simple to create. In fact, we just started in on our first ever national advertising campaign. Look for our ads on websites like Food & Wine, Epicurious, Glam.com and other sites that are also aligned with the better tastes/better times attitude. Not to mention that this very website that you are reading now is fresh off the to-do list (it launched during the first week of September).
Our cocktail coalition isn’t that exclusive. All you need to join is a love for delightful cocktails, and a preference for keeping things simple. If that fits, welcome to the club… and spread the word.

*Recognizing that no one could enjoy a great cocktail without the work that non-profits do to fight hunger, help the environment, and make the world a more cheerful place, we also do our best to support them through our Stirred to Action program.
