One evening, I found myself with a surfeit of Stirrings Lemon Drop Mixer, but no vodka. I did, however, have some rum in the house and decided to experiment. This drink, inspired by the Boston Commons, was the end result.

2 parts Stirrings Lemon Drop Mixer
2 parts light rum
3 parts Stirrings Club Soda
Garnish: Stirrings Lemon Drop Rimmer and lemon wedge

Rim Collins glass with Stirrings Lemon Drop Rimmer. Combine Lemon Drop Mixer and rum in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Pour into rimmed glass. Top with Club Soda, stir gently. Add lemon wedge and enjoy!
